My story

My name is Yohanan and I am a paper artist who creates paper art in various fields, purely for my own enjoyment.

Out of a deep love for what I do, I decided to create a website where I can share with you the things I make.

The first field I’m showcasing here is book folding.

This is an art form that combines meticulous planning and computer-based modeling with clean, delicate handiwork that transforms an old, often unused book into a creation full of new life.

Working on this art brings me great joy, and every time I create something new, I’m amazed by the magic that unfolds before my eyes!

About the Website

I reated this website in a DIY (Do It Yourself) format to let you take part in the joy of creation.

Here you'll find a variety of paper craft projects — from book folding using different techniques (folding, cutting, adding slides, and more), to building paper and cardboard sculptures, and eventually even projects using other materials, which will be added over time.

For now, the focus is on book folding.

To get started and enjoy this creative journey, all you need is:

a few hardcover books (preferably ones you’re willing to part with — or rather, give a new life to), a good pair of scissors, glue, a 30 cm ruler, a pencil (mechanical pencil recommended), an eraser, a bone folder, and a flat workspace. That’s it!

If you don’t find a design in my shop that matches what you’re looking for, feel free to send me a custom request — just choose a picture and let me know your preferred folding method. I’ll be happy to create a personalized pattern just for you.
